BUSINESS REQUIREMENT
Clients require payroll reports to be able to ensure that all the result and calculation are accurate. SAP provides many reporting tools and standard report, vary from master data to detail wage type report. The most uses of those available reports are wage type related, since all the payment or deduction and also the balance analysis can be evaluated using this report. The most important part of the payroll reporting is reconciliation of all of those sources of information.
CURRENT SAP REPORT
SAP provides many flexible tools to subtract and produce wage type report. Wage type statement is the most uses among the users, since it give flexible capabilities to select and produce WT reports. Most of the reports provided are line oriented, means the wage type information will be appeared on the same column for an employee (Figure 1).

In some cases, it doesn’t fulfill the business requirement to be able to breakdown the wage type information on column orientation (each wage type displayed as a column – Figure 2). SAP provides payroll journal to be able to do this, unfortunately, it loose flexibility in term of layout and length of report.

This customized report for column oriented WT report will give user flexibility to produce a column oriented report by setting the simple table set up to arrange the Wage type sequences and the summation figure.

· User can easily create their report with specific WT sequences
· Useful balance or gross to net report can be set up easily with no customizing from development as payroll journal forms
· Multi country report, no more additional coding required to support specific country Payroll
LIMITATION
The current version of report:
· Limited to 80 columns of WT (can be extended with small changes on the code)
· Limited displayed master data key, the current report only provide basic enterprise and personnel information; Personnel number, last name, first name, personnel area, personnel sub area, employee group, employee sub group and cost center. Those condition can be enhanced based on customer’s requirement.
